Closed beta ยท iPhone first

Try Squad before everyone else.

A few hundred people get the squad first. Sign up, install the build through TestFlight, and tell us what should be better. New builds land every week or so.

Milo, Cal, Nori, Dex and Finn are waiting.

Which app?

We keep your address and what you wrote, for the beta only: build notices and the occasional question. Reply to any of them to be taken off the list. More in the privacy policy.

How it works

1
Install TestFlightApple's app for beta software, free on the App Store. One minute, once.
2
Open your link on the iPhoneTestFlight shows Squad and installs it. New builds arrive the same way, with a note on what changed.
3
Sign in with your phone numberYour squad is waiting in the chat. Say hello, then ask for something real.

Requires iOS 26 or later. A build is good for 90 days and TestFlight replaces it well before that.

FEEDBACK

Tell us what's off.

Every report reaches the people building Squad, and the useful ones change the next build. Three ways in; pick whichever is closest to hand.

In the app

Account โ†’ Report a problem

Say what happened and what you expected instead. It goes out with the app version and, if you leave the switch on, the last few pieces of work, so we can see what the squad was doing at the time.

Take a screenshot of the problem and share it to TestFlight; it lands with the build number attached. Crashes are caught by TestFlight, which offers to send them the next time Squad opens.

WEEK ONE

Worth trying first.

The squad is at its best when a request crosses two members. These six show what it can do, and each is something we want to hear about.

What is TestFlight?

Apple's app for trying software before it reaches the App Store. It is free, it installs beta builds and keeps them updated, and it is where crash reports and screenshots go when you send them.

How long does the beta run?

Until the App Store release. A TestFlight build stays good for 90 days and a newer one replaces it well before then, so you are never left with an app that stops opening.

Is my data treated differently during the beta?

No. The privacy policy applies from the first build. The one thing the beta adds is that we read the problem reports you choose to send. You can delete your account and everything in it from the account screen at any time.

Can I bring someone in?

Yes. Invite people into your own Squad from the app; each person joins with their own account. If they would rather test on their own, send them this page.

What about Android, Mac and Windows?

iPhone has the first build. Pick another platform in the form and you are on its list, and that list gets each new build first.

Does the beta cost anything?

No. The five founding members are free during the beta and after it.
